This book is a product of the members of the Chief Economists of Government (CEoG). The findings, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in this work do not necessarily reflect the views of the World Bank. The CEoG initiative is a peer network of chief economic advisors to heads of the executive in sub-Saharan Africa. The CEoG initiative aims to promote economic growth and transformation by strengthening knowledge-based policymaking in African countries. To achieve this goal, the initiative convenes and supports a peer network of chief economic advisors to Presidents and Prime Ministers.
