Capitalism is a world system. Its victims can effectively face its
challenges only if they are also organized at the global level.
However, the unequal development associated with the global spread of
capital has always presented serious difficulties for the
internationalism of peoples. Here, I propose to identify the origin
and nature of the obstacles that impede a convergence of today's
diverse struggles against capitalist domination and exploitation.
